Heavy halfmoon

Heavy halfmoon, that yellow like sagging of a golden bow aghast at the naked dark, had faded from the skiest LA blue of dusk dusk to this, now the blackest stretch of velour we have seen spread across the windshield of curving firmament sealing us like lovers of the night who gasp for yawns the breaths we trade and timidly never roll the windows down for fear that the moon might turn white if not seen through the glass.
