if we saw

if we saw, reproduced, what we saw in a dim moonlit room, the blue dissipating light, imperfect, filled with green, rose, and silver, wildly grained across the wall, green vitreous spots in careening geometric arrays, and the disembodied edges of things, catching the blue moonlight and wavering in location and scale, we would swear it was false, that it was stylized, it would be horrifying, because we dont want to believe that we see the world so personally.
